Mrs. Deborah West    

 When Drew Central annexed the Wilmar School, all of the elementary teachers and a few of the high school teachers, were kept.  I was the second grade teacher, at the time when Wilmar was annexed.  The Wilmar Elementary school was left at the Wilmar campus for two years while the 5^th and 6^th grade building was being built.  During this time, I took the kindergarten position at the Wilmar campus.  At the end of the two years, everyone and everything was moved to the Drew Central campus!  

Educational Background: Graduate School-University of Arkansas at Monticello ( 12 Hours) BA in Elementary Education-University of Arkansas at Monticello (1979-1984) High School Diploma-Drew Central High School (1975-1979) 

Philosophy:  I believe that all students have the right to a developmentally appropriate education.  I feel that it is my responsibility is to meet all of my students’ needs.  Each student is an individual and should be taught in the modalities that are appropriate for that individual to learn.                          

Mrs. Judy Owens   

   I am married to a wonderful man named Ronnie. I have two children, a son Rodger and a daughter Rebecca. I have lived in Monticello for almost 20 years. I attend Rose Hill Free Will Baptist Church where I work with children puppet plays. I became part of Drew Central through Americorps.

   I work in the pre-school in the room with Deborah, and Mitzi and sub
for the other Pre-School rooms if anyone needs to be off. I help
 kindergarten get their car riders to the back
