Mrs. Chambers My name is Angela Chambers, and I wanted to share some of my life with you. I teach literacy and Social Studies, two passions of mine. I guess I teach because I don’t know of anything I could do better or have more fun doing. I have been married to Joe since 1982. We have two wonderful children, Tyler and Terra. In December of 2006 we added a daughter (in-law), Holly. Then in May of 2007 (three days before my birthday) we added the joy of our lives, our first grandbaby, Rustyn “Eli”. I never knew I could smile so much or be so very proud. I still teach at my church even though it is a different church, and now I teach 1st -6th grades on Wednesday nights. I enjoy this as much as teaching school. I spend much of my time with my many (4) sisters and my mother. My dad passed away in 2004. He was my inspiration for teaching. I always joke that my dad picked out my wedding dress and my career. Both are true! He saw what a timid (yes, I said timid), shy girl could be if she, as he said, “applied” herself. That is why I have only high expectations for my students now. Wow, can life get any better? I think I am right where God want me to be and lovin’ every minute of it!!! Educational Background: Graduated from Monticello High School. Graduated from the University of Arkansas at Monticello with a B.A. in Elementary Education. Job
